Travel program
Day 1
Arrival to Fez
Our driver will be waiting for you at the airport to pick you up to your Riad where you are going to stay. The Medina is the oldest part of the city of Fez and therefore the heart of the city. Walk around the traditional Arab markets. Everything is sold here!
Day 2
Fez
Today you will have a half day tour with the guide from 10am to 2pm. During this tour different things will be visited such as the Medina of Fez.
Day 3
Chefchaouen (approx. 200 km)
You will depart from Fez at 8:00 AM to the photogenic blue city of Chefchaoun where you will arrive at approximately 12:00 PM. In Chefchaoun there is the possibility to visit the Medina and the Souks. There is also the possibility to visit the Alcazaba museum and a Moroccan Hammam.
Day 4
Chefchaoun - Meknes (approx. 194 km)
Today you will depart from Chefchaoun to Meknes, arriving around 2 PM. A visit to Volubilis, an ancient Roman settlement is on the program. The entrance for this is included. There is also the possibility to visit the Medina of Meknas. The imposing city gate Bab mansour and place El Hedim should not be missed either.
Day 5
Meknes - Merzouga (approx. 453 km)
Get up early, because at 07:00 you leave Meknas for Merzouga, where you will arrive at 17:00. Merzouga is a village on the edge of the Moroccan desert dune area. The excursion: A 1-hour camel ride through the desert and overnight stay in a traditional Bivouac (a traditional Berber tent) is included in this trip!
Make sure you bring a small backpack to carry your stuff to the desert
Day 6
Merzouga - Fez (approx. 470 km)
Today you travel from Merzouga to Fez. The must-see sights in Fez are the Royal Palace of Fez and the Jnan Sbil Gardens.
Day 7
Fez
Today you have the freedom to determine what you are going to do and you can fill this day according to your own wishes. For example, visit the Bou Inania Medersa. This is a former Islamic school. You will find beautiful mosaics and wood carvings in this former school building.
Day 8
Departure to the Airport of Fez
After a last breakfast and a last cup of fresh mint tea, it is time to go to the airport and return home.

Every person aged more than 5 years old needs to pay some extra tourist taxes (2.5€ per person per night). These taxes are not included in the price of your booking. And will be paid directly to the hotel either at the beginning or the end of your stay.
