Overview
Morocco is beautiful and has a lot to offer. Within a few hours you will fly to a completely different world! During this 8-day trip you will explore the special city of Marrakech and make a 3-day trip to the Sahara. Along the way you will visit various Kasbahs and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and views. Once you have arrived at the Sahara, travel further by camel and spend the night in a fairytale setting. Travel program
Day 1
Arrival to Marrakech
Once you have arrived, you will be transferred to the hotel for the first night with a transfer. Overnight stay with breakfast at Riad Dalia or similar
Day 2 and 3
Marrakech
After breakfast you have plenty of time to explore this beautiful historic city on your own in two days. Here you will see the famous Djemaa El Fna square, the medina with its maze of souks, the Sadian tombs, the Bahia Palace and the Koutoubia Minaret. Marvel at all the sights and imagine yourself in the fairy tale of 1000 and 1 night! During your stay in Marrakech, an excursion to the Ourika Valley is also organized. You can specify a preferred day at the hotel (the tour lasts approximately 7 hours from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM). Overnight stays with breakfast at Riad Dalia Marrakech (or equivalent).
Day 4
Aït-Ben-haddou/Ouarzazate/Dades Gorges (327 km.)
will be picked up in Marrakech and you will travel by minibus via the famous mountain pass Tizi-n-Tichka to Dades Gorges. Along the way, visit the Kasbahs of Aït-Ben-Haddou and Ouarzazate with a local guide. The Kasbahs of Aït-Ben-Haddou consist of a group of mud houses surrounded by high walls. The houses are close together within the defensive walls, which are reinforced by corner towers. Some houses are modest, others resemble small urban castles with high corner towers and the upper parts decorated with motifs in brick. After this visit you will travel through the Palm Oasis of Skoura, through the Kalaat M'gouna Valley of the Roses to arrive at Dades Gorges.
Day 5
Merzouga/Sahara (270 km.)
Today you travel further to the Sahara. Along the way you will admire the valley of the 1000 Kasbahs, the Tifillate Oasis and various villages such as Tinghir, Rissani and Erfoud. You will then arrive in Merzouga where you will continue your journey by camel. After about 1.5 hours you will arrive at the overnight location where you will have the opportunity to see the beautiful sunset. Overnight and dinner in a tent at NasserPalace Hotel & Bivouacs .
Make sure you bring a small backpack to carry your stuff to the desert
Day 6
Merzouga/Marrakech (563 km.)
Today you can admire the sunrise early in the morning after which you depart by camel back to Merzouga. From here begins the return journey by minibus to Marrakech. A long drive of about 8 to 9 hours, but on the way you can admire the beautiful surroundings again. Overnight stay with breakfast in Riad Dalia Marrakech (or equivalent hotel).
Day 7
Marrakech
Today you can spend at leisure in Marrakech. Overnight stay with breakfast at Riad Dalia Marrakech. (or equivalent hotel).
Day 8
Marrakech - Return
A transfer from the hotel to the airport is included

It offers a rooftop terrace with views of the souks (markets) and Moroccan-style guest rooms with views of the interior courtyard. Facilities in the rooms and suites at Riad Dalia include air conditioning and a private bathroom with bathrobes. While all accommodations features mosaic tiles, some also have a sitting area with a fireplace. A continental breakfast is provided every morning on the terrace, in guest rooms or in the courtyard. The hosts at the riad can also prepare Moroccan cuisine for lunch and dinner, if you reserve in advance. Transportation from the airport and excursions can be organized at the 24-hour front desk. Other local attractions include Ben Youssef Mosque and the Majorelle Gardens, both less than a 20 minute walk away.
